The Lodge Buffet is located in the Grand Sierra Resort, Reno. It was formerly known as the Reno Hilton. They have buffets for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. There was a very long wait to get into the buffet and it was mid week.
Decor, Vibe – The Lodge Buffet has modern decor with lots of different food stations. Lots of locals, tourists, gamblers, and non gamblers. Lots of families and couples.
The Lodge Buffet has a lot of variety but not a lot of high quality items. They serve everything from seafood to prime rib to Mexican food to salads. Dessert variety was a little lacking. Buffets in Las Vegas like the Wynn Buffet are superior. Even buffets like Moonstar in the SF Bay Area are better.
We have tried several buffets in Reno including the ones at the El Dorado and Peppermill. They all serve food of about the same quality. Spend a couple minutes and join their player club to get the The Lodge Buffet for a lot less.

October 15, 2009 at 9:00 amthe lodge buffet is great in my pinion. there is only two disappointments. one, the wait. youve got ti wait at least 40 minutes to get in. two, the noise level. walking ino the grand sierra its two noisy. grant, it is a casino, but even at the lodge the noise level is too hgh.
