Why did we dine here? – Hummus Mediterranean Kitchen has become our goto place when looking for this type of food. They have expanded to four locations including Palo Alto, San Francisco and Mountain View.
Surprisingly decent Mediterranean food from a this restaurant. Far better than the other places in the vicinity. The folks are friendly and swear they have nothing to do with Sinbads that used to be here. Their fresh pita bread is a great change from some premade stuff.
The menu is pretty wide ranging from hummus, typical appetizers, plates, wraps, and salads. They also have pastry and flatbreads: Lahmacun, Pide and more. Hummus Mediterranean Kitchen is now serving Turkish Breakfast at all locations on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. The brunch menu includes popular Turkish dishes such as Little Chefs Menemen, The Breakfast Board (charcuterie) and Shakshuka.
You order at the counter and they bring the food out for you. Lots of Door dash is going on. The food is better than most Mediterranean restaurant, so give it a try when you are in the area. Ample street parking. Right near legendary Draegar’s supermarket.
