Your choices amaze. We are not foodies in the traditional sense. We probably know food (really, cuisine) infinitely better than the overwhelming majority of
those who know & appreciate fine cuisine. Why?, because my wife & I are exceptional cooks and we have eaten in 12 3 star restaurants, many of which sorely disappointed. Although now defunct, our favorite rest. in Paris was La Boule d’Or (the golden ball), a Michelin 1* – it beat the hell out of the 3 stars.
The purpose of this note is to thank you for the descriptions & pix of Danko’s food and also those of Chapeau and Josephine Chez Dumont – we will eat in all 3 (Paris next May). Rarely, a pic is worth more than a thousand words.

    Appreciatively,

    C & J L.
