Why did we dine here? – We were on vacation in Pismo Beach and found some positive buzz for Ventana Grill. It is located right by the water with killer views of the Ocean, especially during sunset.

Service – Ventana Grill had reasonable service with the server providing good guidance and no major issues.
Verdict – Ventana Grill is about as good as it gets down there. Great view and decent food.

Happy Hour Margarita ($5) Cheap and strong!
Sweet Chipotle Chili Wings – wings and drummettes, sweet chipotle chili sauce, jicama and cucumber sticks, chamoy dressing. ($9) Sweet heat, enough for dinner by themselves.
Carne Asada Nachos – Angus skirt steak, oaxacan cheese, pinquinto beans, pico de gallo, jalapeños, guacamole, chipotle crema, cilantro. ($14) Massive plate, very good quality too.
Chipolte Pork Chop – french cut, fresh pineapple salsa, al pastor marinade, corn tortillas. ($24) Massive, Juicy, Spicy kick, Very well done.
Local White Sea Bass – pumpkin seed crusted, pipian verde, seared spinach, tequila soaked apricots, spiced pepitas. ($26) had stellar fish but way too much seeds. Tell them to go easy on this crust. Nice local fish.
