Sushi Main Street is a Japanese Restaurant in Half Moon Bay, just off the Main street shopping area on Mill street. They have been around for several years and used to be located on Main street. Their menu is quite extensive for a small coastal town.
Decor, Vibe – Rich southeast Asian decor transports you to a different zone. Lots of tourists were dining along side locals and some families.

Picks:
Hot Sake
Assorted Sashimi ($22.50) had a generous portion of mixed sashimi with beautiful Japanese garnishes and included Maguro, Hirame, Hamachi. Fish was fresh and cut well. Quantity was average.
Seafood Nabeyaki ($12.25) Scallop, mussel, shrimp, clams, snapper, mushrooms and tempura with udon noodles had better noodles than most places. Broth was very good and the clay pot made the dish more special. The included piece of tempura was a nice touch.
Unagi Don ($13.50) Broiled Eel covering a generous bowl of rice, with daikon pickles and cucumber served with miso soup. Small Quantities, but delicious unagi. Wish they would add more. Lots of rice.
OK:
None
Pans:
Chicken Breast Teriyaki Dinner ($13.75) included green salad, miso soup and steamed rice. It tasted a little soy saucy and not too teriyaki like.
Sushi Main Street is a good Japanese place worth visiting if you are in the area and are looking for Sushi. Prices are reasonable. Touristy towns like Half Moon Bay do not lend themselves to great food at great prices, so do not expect world class service.
Other nearby alternates include Pasta Moon, which is very expensive and only a little above average in quality. Cetrella has served very good food for a while, but they have had chef defections and service problems.
