Why did we dine here? – Roosevelt Cookout is a fun activity in Yellowstone National Park. You can ride a horse or take a horse drawn carriage to a old west, all you an eat dinner cookout. The cooks work in an outdoor location and serve up real cowboy food. You also get real cowboy coffee that has been cooked over an open campfire. Entertainment includes live music complete with fun jokes.
We had a great time, even though the food was average, and recommend visitors try this.

Cuisine – American
Location – Yellowstone National Park
Service – Roosevelt Cookout was strictly a help yourself to food affair. The workers were fun and made the experience better.
Verdict – Roosevelt Cookout is a must do if you come to visit Yellowstone National Park. The steak is average (it was precooked and then just warmed up on the grill), but you can eat as many as you can. One teenager had five 12oz steaks. The coffee gives Blue Bottle a run for its money!
