Reviewer: Foodnut.com San Bruno Korean BBQ 1610 El Camino Real (between Millbrae Ave and San Bruno Ave) San Bruno, CA 94066 650-583-0702 |
Why did we dine here? – San Bruno Korean BBQ is an all you can eat $23.95 Korean buffet located almost across the street from Asian Pearl Peninsula.
We’ve passed by this location many times and read the Yelp reviews, so we finally decided it was time to give it a try.
Insider Tip – Wear clothes you need to wash.
Cuisine – Korean BBQ
Location – San Bruno
Service – San Bruno Korean BBQ had surprisingly reasonable service. We didn’t have to ask for very much, which is a surprise from Korean restaurants around here.
Verdict – San Bruno Korean BBQ surprised us with a decent selection of Banchan as well as various meats of reasonable quality. If you like Korean food and have a voracious appetite, give this place a try. Again the ventilation at this place sucks, or actually it does not suck! You will come out of this place smelling like smoke, so you are forewarned.
We prefer this restaurant to The Palace Buffet in Santa Clara. Our favorite Korean restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area include Gooyi Gooyi, Sahn Maru.
San Bruno Korean BBQ’s Menu features all the standard classic Korean dishes, but almost everyone is here for the Korean buffet.
San Bruno Korean BBQ Food Picks:
Salad, fish appetizer, fried dumplings, fried vegetables, at least 10 kinds of Banchan.
Short ribs, pork belly, thinly sliced beef, marinated beef, shrimp, chicken, spicy beef, and mussels. Dessert rice soup.
