The Original Falafel’s Drive-In Menu has everything from Falafel’s to hummus to burgers. Falafel’s Drive-In’s extensive menu satisfies vegetarians and meat-lovers alike.
Picks:
Falafel ($4 small) A delicious pita sandwich consisting of falafel balls, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, tahini sauce, and their famous hot sauce. Small amount of Spicy sauce on top with crispy balls and fairly big portion size. One of the better versions in the Bay Area.
Hummos ($5.25 small) Puréed garbanzo beans mixed with tahini sauce, garlic, and lemon juice. Served with two pitas and veggies. A bit of hot sauce on top, cucumber, tomato, beet, too. Nice portion size and good quality with a strong lemony component. The pitas were not homemade and were average.
Crispy Pita chips ($2.25) were Fried strips of pita bread seasoned with aromatic herbs. Good quality, super crispy, nice with the hummus.
OK:
Award winning fresh Banana shakes ($3) Made with non-fat milk and low-fat ice cream was on the low flavor side and only slightly thick. A little overrated.
Pans:
None
