B. Patisserie Bakery Picks:
Kouign amann ($4.25) is her famous pastry. Flaky, buttery and crisp. Can you believe that this thing has no eggs? They make several different flavors that change with the seasons, though we still prefer the normal one. The chocolate is a bit too sweet. During Chinese New Years 2020 we tried the Mango Kouign amann and found it well done. Not too sweet.
10 hour Apple Tart is actually baked for 10 hours at a super low temperature. The apples are super soft, yet the crust is nice and firm. Delicious.
Croissant Nature ($4.50) was super light and airy. Well done! Not as good as #1 Arsicault Bakery though. Check out our Best croissant in SF
Passion Fruit Bostock ($3.25) was fruity and well balanced.
Sugar Brioche Tart ($3.25) was slightly sweet but also delicate and heavenly.
Almond Cake ($3.75) is gluten free and well done.
OK: (Order if you like this dish)
None
Pans: (We would not reorder these dishes)
Rustic Baguette ($2.75) needs reworking.
