Village Pub is a fine dining establishment in the small town of Woodside. We have passed by many times, on our way back from hiking or biking, and felt it was time to try it. They have received One Michelin star starting from 2009. They use lots of seasonal, local, and organic ingredients. They have a sister restaurant Spruce, in San Francisco.

The Little Store Restaurant Review, Woodside
Posted on January 1, 2015Why did we dine here? – The Little Store is a long standing (1902) restaurant that we have passed many times. It used to be a gas station, then morphed into a general store. Having eaten at most other restaurants nearby ie Buck’s, Woodside Bakery, it was time to give it a try. A small quaint place with a mom and pop old school atmosphere. Our last visit was Summer 2016.
Buck’s Restaurant Woodside Restaurant Review, Woodside
Posted on January 30, 2012Buck’s is a quirky restaurant nestled in the small town of Woodside. The interior is full of off the wall models, toys, posters, and more. Even the front of the seasonal menu has a lecture on different topics. Their website is pretty crazy. Our last visit was in 2014. They have a separate lunch special menu that changes from time to time. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We came for lunch.
Alice’s Restaurant Review, Woodside
Posted on July 19, 2010Alice’s Restaurant is located in the San Francisco coastal mountain range at the intersection on Highway 35 Skyline Blvd, and Highway 84. They are “Home to the best specialty burgers in the world”, as they put it. Lots of motorcyclists stop here on the weekend as well as hikers, bikers, and those touring the area. We have eaten here several times, the last time in June 2010.
