Posted on September 8, 2014Why did we dine here? – The Plant Organic Cafe is a small local chain of restaurants focusing on organic and vegetarian oriented cuisine. The menu features many vegetarian items along with seafood and even cocktails. They have locations in Mill Valley, San Francisco at Pier 3, Downtown, and the Marina. Named for its street address, this place has received some positive press and coupled with their pedigree, it was an easy decision to give it a try. Far more casual than their other restaurant, this place has industrial modern decor and even has a long communal table. A long narrow bar is situated on one wall. This space has housed many restaurants over the years including the good old Rendezvous cafe.
Outerlands Restaurant Review, San Francisco
Posted on April 15, 2013Why did we dine here? – Outerlands has established the outer sunset into a foodie destination. No reservations, so there is a line out the door before the place opens. Lana Porcello and David Muller have created an oasis in this cold drab, often foggy part of town where the Muni Metro clanks through every couple minutes. We came for lunch and waited 20 minutes. On another occasion we had dinner.
