Why did we eat here? – Tampu is the main restaurant in the Sanctuary Lodge at Machu Picchu. Breakfast and lunch are open to hotel guests & non-hotel guests (based on availability – reserve ahead). Breakfast buffet costs US$35. Dinner is open to hotel guests only. The other restaurant next door is a lunch buffet for the general public USD$44, that the hotel also runs.
