It is one of our favorite places as it is pretty consistent.. Always a candidate for the short list of best restaurants. It earned One Michelin Stars last in 2015 and lost it after. Nancy Oakes open Boulevard, a New American/French comfort food restaurant way back in 1993. She opened nearby Prospect in 2010. Alumni Ravi Kapor now runs Liholiho Yacht Club. Our last visit was in the summer of 2026 where we found the food quality still very good. Boulevard’s busy Kitchen in Action Boulevard Decor, Vibe – Pat Kuleto design with an “intimate Belle Epoque aesthetic”. Cool ceiling in the front, with thin bricks adorning the ceiling. Couples, business people, and groups were all enjoying the fine food. The decor was updated in 2021 before they re-open during the pandemic. Boulevard has been voted most popular by the old Zagat’s guide for years. The place was packed when we entered at 6pm. If you don’t have a reservation, you can get a seat at the bar or better yet, the kitchen counter, while they last. If you […]

Chase Sapphire Reserve has this spot on this $300 dining credit, so more folks were trying it out! The restaurant is located right on the Embarcadero and has a beautiful interior, just down the block from Boulevard. The focus is on seafood and meats with a lots of wood hearth cooked items. Prices are very high, quantity on the light side, and the food was unique with strong flavors. You’ll need an appetizer, salad, entree to fill up! The food has improved over the years and we can see why it has a Michelin star now. Service is very good with no worries over ordering, pacing, water refills and the like. Angler Food Picks: Tempranillo, Studio Null 2023 ($16) is their non alcholic wine. Tastes like a regular wine! 8.5/10 Bluefin Tuna & Kelp with Rice Crisp ($28) is a […]

It has 4.5 stars on Yelp right now. It was recommended by a friend and was also on the NY Times 25 best restaurants in SF 2023. Reservations are a must unless you want to walk in right when it opens. We’ve eat here twice. The menu has limited selections in each of its different section, not like the usual Thai spots. No pad thai or pad see ew here! Simple concise menu with several options for vegetarians. Their spring menu saw several new dishes. Prik surprised us with food that was clearly a cut above the usual fare. Prices are reasonable, unlike the expensive top spots Nari or Kin Khao. Definitely check it out if you are into Thai food. Service was homey and just fine. Safety Pluses – Online menu, Delivery services available, online ordering. Food Review: Thai Tea ($4.00) had a lot of ice but was balanced and not too sweet. 8/10 Coconut water ($8) comes in an actual coconut. fun. 8/10 Scallops Lemongrass ($16.00 for 2pc) are 2 scallop shots with chili jam, toasted coconut with herbs. Better than many places’s scallop entrees! […]

We were passing by and decided to finally give it a try. Without reservations, we dined at the bar. Pacing was way off, but the food was fabulous. Definitely want to try more next time! We came back for lunch in Spring 2019 and found the food just as good. Michelin The Plate Rated for 2019. Be sure to check out the Amazon 4 star store nearby. They carry only top rated items. Pretty cool and only of 3 in the USA. Food Picks: Sendai Mule ($14) bulleit bourbon, cocchi americano, yuzu, ginger beer is their take on a Moscow Mule. A bit too much ice, but a nice balanced drink. Hidden potency. Japanese Mojito ($12) ikkomon shochu, shiso, yuzu, simple syrup, sparkling water is a nice variation of the classic with lots of yuzu flavor. ORGANIC ICHIBA SALAD ($10) mizuna / baby kale / cherry tomato / radish / apple / tamari-yuzu vinaigrette was fabulous. A nice balance of sweet and savory. Get it if you are vegetarian. BACON MOCHI ($13.50) crispy nori seaweed / grilled mochi & smoked bacon / housemade teriyaki is a bit chewy […]
