Why did we dine here? – Roosevelt Cookout is a fun activity in Yellowstone National Park. You can ride a horse or take a horse drawn carriage to a old west, all you an eat dinner cookout. The cooks work in an outdoor location and serve up real cowboy food. You also get real cowboy coffee that has been cooked over an open campfire. Entertainment includes live music complete with fun jokes. We had a great time, even though the food was average, and recommend visitors try this. All-you-can-eat coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans, chuck wagon corn, corn muffins, watermelon, and fruit crisp. Vegetarians can be accommodated. Lemonade, ice tea, sodas, and cowboy coffee. $79.90 for adults, $69.38 for kids Insider Tip – Make reservation for the 1 or 2 hour horse ride at least several months in advance.
