Chinese Name: 老北京炸酱面大王 Old Beijing Zhajiang Noodle King Restaurant is a popular long standing restaurant that probably still owned by the government and hasn’t changed much in many years. We visted the Hong Qiao Main Branch. It it famous for their Zhajiang Noodles and authentic Beijing food. Small wooden tables and benches. Menu plaques on the walls. Lots of families, friends were dining during lunch. They were very good but are clearly dated and haven’t changed or been updated. Modern versions have more flavor. Quantities are on the high side. Sauteed Lamb with Scallion (28¥) was very good.
