(Bouley, Coi, Michael Mina) Pretty casual but full of middle aged well dressed foodies, this loud restaurant has a rustic, barn like setting. Our last visit was in Summer 2026 when we found them on the Chase Sapphire list! They also run RT Bistro next door. Insider Tip – Make reservations months in advance! He came around every once in a while and did not need to be chased down. Good pacing. Verdict – Rich Table has improved with age. Even though it no longer has a Michelin Star, we found the food and service excellent. They have expanded to four locations including Palo Alto, San Francisco and Mountain View. Hummus Mediterranean Kitchen is owned by Onur Alkanoglu and Yasar Bulutoglu, who are immigrants from Turkey that wanted to further Turkish cuisine into the Bay Area with the original San Mateo location. In 2020, Amir Hosseini joined the Hummus Mediterranean Kitchen team as a partner and helped open the Palo Alto, Mountain View, and San Francisco locations. Surprisingly decent Mediterranean food from a this restaurant. Far better than the other places in the vicinity. The folks are friendly and swear they have nothing to do with Sinbads that used to be here. Their fresh pita bread is a great change from some premade stuff. The menu is pretty wide ranging from hummus, typical appetizers, plates, wraps, and salads. They also have pastry and flatbreads: Lahmacun, Pide and more. Hummus Mediterranean Kitchen is now serving Turkish Breakfast at all locations on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. The brunch menu includes popular Turkish dishes such as Little Chefs Menemen, The Breakfast Board […]

They have been around since Lichee Garden closed, 2012. They are VERY popular for lunch (Noon had a Wait for a Monday lunch), but it was much more quiet at dinner. We were in the neighborhood so we decided to try it out, being big Chinese food fans. Last visit was in Winter 2024. This restaurant is a sister restaurant to Hong Kong Lounge. The menu is similar, but we found the food better here. Be sure to read: Foodnut’s Beginners Introduction to Chinese Dim Sum Best Chinese in San Francisco Be sure to read our article How to order in authentic Chinese dinner Decor, Vibe – A small step up up from standard Chinese restaurant decor. Looks the same as before and smell like it too. This is not a big restaurant. Some big groups of friends and families, and couples of all ages were dining. Very popular with the local Chinatown crowd. Lai Hong Lounge Menu Pretty standard check off traditional dim sum menu along with a couple modern dishes. Lots of cooked food items you expect for dinner. Menu looks identical to Hong […]
