We were in the area and decided to give this restaurant another try. Insider Tip – Eat here only if you like spicy food. Cuisine – Sichuan Chinese Location – Milpitas Service – South Legend had fair service. You pretty much have to hail the waiters to get most things done, especially when they are busy. Verdict – South Legend serves up decent spicy Sichuan Chinese dishes. This restaurant is a good bet if you’re looking for some heat, and are located near by. South Legend Signature Dishes – Boiled Fish, Couple’s Delight, Chong Qing fish fillet with Chili. South Legend’s Menu features a wide variety of dishes, but we would stick to the Sichuan ones and avoid Americanized dishes. Website South Legend Menu South Legend Food Picks: Boiled fish fillet in a fiery sauce ($10) was spicy and decent, but included some fair fish in a heavy gravy. Overcooked peppercorns.
