(Means “to eat” or “let’s eat” in Thai.) It is run by the famous food blogger of Chez Pim – Pim Techamuanvivit, girlfriend of Manresa’s chef David Kinch. Nari has One Michelin star. Nari is a tribute to generations of Thai women who laid the foundation for Thai cuisine, and a personal love letter to the women in her life who taught her to cook and, more importantly, to eat. Women lead at every level, buying wine from several women-run wineries along with spirits made by women. The kitchen didn’t seem to have than many females though. Be sure to checkout our reviews of food we ate in Thailand. Last visit was in early 2026. Insider Tip – Reserve weeks ahead. Upstairs bar area. Cuisine – Thai Location – Japantown Opened – 2019 Service – Nari Very good service, both unknowledgeable waiter and reasonable pacing. Service fell off after the restaurant filled up. Verdict – Nari Serves very good food in nice surroundings. Bold flavors with lots of spiciness. The prices are extremely high (Easy $80 per person), making […]

The chef last had two Michelin stars at Campton Place. It is located across from Japantown in the location that used to be Dosa. Beautiful interior The food is focused on Cuisine from the chef’s home state of Kerala in Southwestern India. Copra pays homage to the coastal cuisines of India’s southern states: Kerala where Gopinathan was born and Tamil Nadu where he grew up, and will also look across the Palk Strait to the island nation of Sri Lanka, a short distance from his hometown of Kanyakumari, mainland India’s southernmost city.
