The Ahwahnee Hotel Restaurant in Yosemite is a must visit for new site-seers to Yosemite National Park. Steeped in tradition, this old dining hall brings you back to olden days. We were staying at the Ahwanhnee, so it was natural to try the Dining Room again. Our last visit was about a decade ago. It maintains it classic grandeur and now has live music and a prix fixe menu. Reservations are a must. Aramark catering runs the place. We went to the Hotel for lunch during the summer of 2011 and found the food just slightly above average. Returned in Summer 2026 for dinner. You come here not for the food, but for the atmosphere. Note: dinner is much more expensive and suggests formal clothing (for men: collared shirt and no athletic shoes) This is a nice throw back to the years gone by. Menu is fixed with either a 5 course for $99 or 7 course for $125. Wine pairing +40. Vegan menu available. Ahwanhnee Dining Room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
