KK Cafe is a small family owned cafe in the Western Addition neighborhood of San Francisco. This place has gotten 4 stars on Yelp. We decided to visit and try their highly touted burger.
Decor, Vibe – Pretty standard small cafe with 5 small tables. Nothing fancy but the place was clean. Lots of accolades on the walls. Mostly locals were stopping by to have a quick lunch. They serve breakfast items all day long, coffee drinks, burgers, and sandwiches.

Picks:
Chicken Burger ($6.95) had a nice big chicken patty. It had decent flavor and was a pretty healthy burger. Real chicken, no reconstituted stuff here. Fries were included.
OK:
Bacon Cheese Burger ($6.95 for 1/2 lb) comes with fries and lots of fresh condiments. It was of decent size but did not taste special. It was good but not in the top tier of burgers. Bacon was plentiful and good. The fries were decent but also not super.
Peanut Milk Smoothie ($3.25 for 20 oz) is there signature drink that is supposed to bring stamina energy, boost immune systems, and smoothness of your skin. Non dairy, it had Banana and apple, and was pretty minimal in flavor. It was not very thick. Did not notice any power boost afterwards…
Pans:
None
KK Cafe had friendly service but took about 15 minutes to get us our food. Clearly it was freshly made and they have a small kitchen. They also have massive croissants for sandwiches.
The food was fair, nothing special, making this a place we would not drive a very long distance for. It is more of a neighborhood joint. Cash only.
