Marlowe is a market driven neighbourhood bistro near SF’s ATT park, just across the street from the Caltrain station. Chef du Cuisine: Jennifer Puccio was formerly of Cortez. The focus here is on American comfort food. We decided to try this place because Michael Bauer raved about its burger. Our last visit was in November 2012. Park Tavern SF is a new American Restaurant from the team at Marlowe. It replaced old school favorite Mooses, right on Washington Square in San Francisco’s North Beach district.
The place was packed early on and is already a hot spot. Our last visit was in August 2012.

Godfather’s Burger Lounge opened in Belmont, December 2009 right on busy El Camino Real just south of the Ralston Ave. They focus on ½lb. fresh, all-natural “Certified Angus Beef” humanely raised burgers. 4505 Meats Food Stand Review, San Francisco

4505 Meats Farmers Market

4505 Meats is run by chef and artisan butcher Ryan Farr. Ryan formerly was executive chef at Fifth Floor. He teaches butcher classes and serves up food at the San Francisco Ferry Building Farmer’s Market. We saw them at the Eat Real festival in Oakland and on other occasions the Ferry building. They create homemade relishes, multi-national ’Zilla sauce, and even bacon-dressed chocolate desserts.

McDonald’s recently rolled out three new Angus Third Pounder nationwide. We normally do not review fast food, but figured we would give this a try and report back. It usually does not matter which location we ate at as almost all McDonald’s are supposed to be identical. We visited the San Mateo location. Busier locations may have hotter and better food. The tiny McDonald’s by ATT Park in San Francisco seems a tad better than others.

Another trendy fancy burger place… This one is a fancy one located in the SOMA district with an adjacent bar. You get to select a patty, 3 free toppings, optional premium toppings or cheese, sauce and bun.
