BurgerMeister Restaurant Review, San Francisco

Posted by Foodnut.com, January 6th, 2013

Burgermeister San Francisco Exterior

BurgerMeister is a local San Francisco Bay Area burger joint with 7 locations, 3 in San Francisco, Alameda, Berkeley, and Daly City. They pride themselves on making great burgers that are juicy, taste great and require both hands to eat. They’ve won a lot of awards for their burgers.
Open since 1999, they use Niman Ranch all natural, hormone-free and antibiotic-free beef. They uses Mitchell’s ice cream for shakes. We tried the San Francisco Columbus Avenue location near Fisherman’s wharf. They serve burgers, hot dogs, salads, sandwiches, and more. Our last visit was in 2014. Read the rest of this entry »

Marlowe San Francisco exterior decor

Marlowe is a market driven neighbourhood bistro near SF’s ATT park, just across the street from the Caltrain station. Chef du Cuisine: Jennifer Puccio was formerly of Cortez. The focus here is on American comfort food. We decided to try this place because Michael Bauer raved about its burger. Our last visit was in November 2012. Marlowe’s sister restaurant is Park Tavern SF. Read the rest of this entry »

McDonald’s Angus Burger Restaurant Review

Posted by Foodnut.com, September 29th, 2009

McDonalds Exterior Decor

McDonald’s recently rolled out three new Angus Third Pounder nationwide. We normally do not review fast food, but figured we would give this a try and report back. It usually does not matter which location we ate at as almost all McDonald’s are supposed to be identical. We visited the San Mateo location. Busier locations may have hotter and better food. The tiny McDonald’s by ATT Park in San Francisco seems a tad better than others.
