Why did we dine here? – Boxing room was recently written up in 7×7 magazine plus a friend recommended it, so we decided to give it a try. The chef is Justin Simoneaux (Moss Room) and the owners run Absinthe down the block.

Kingfish is a fun New Orleans/Southern focused restaurant in San Mateo. They had a location in San Francisco but that closed.. The place is prime draw for this sleepy suburb as it is around the corner from the Century Theaters and is one of the few places that stays open late.
