Located in the busy Burlingame avenue corridor, this place has a price location across from Starbucks. They serve food from northern Italy and the Mediterranean. We tested lunch here. The weather was nice so we sat at a table on the sidewalk.
Decor, Vibe – Indoors it was Italian influenced decor, with a big flat panel they were watching soccer on.
Open since 1982 in San Francisco, Isobune pioneered the sushi boat Japanese restaurant. You can sit down and grab food from the boats and eat, faster than at the golden arches. You can also order entrees and other special items. Pricing is indicated by the color of the item’s plate. ($1.95-$5.95) We have eaten in the Burlingame location several times. Ramen club is a 20yr old Japanese restaurant on California Drive in Burlingame right across from the Caltrain tracks. They specialize in home made ramen noodles, hence the name. Unlike some other ramen places like Halu or Santa Ramen, they also serve sushi, sashimi, etc.

Grace Garden is a Chinese restaurant specializing in (as they say term it) Mandarin, Szechuan, Hunan, and Peking cuisine.
They don’t list Korean, but clearly there is some Korean influence on the place (like San Tung in San Francisco), considering you get Kim Chee with your meal. This family restaurant has been located in the Burlingame Broadway shopping district for over 10 years. Read the rest of this entry »

bonne Sante is a local sandwich shop in the busy Burlingame broadway shopping district. They started last year and serve sandwiches, Burgers and Salads. The draw to this place are the huge portions.
