Prime Rib Shabu is a new hot pot or fondue restaurant in San Francisco’s inner Richmond district. You cook raw meats and veggies by dipping them in a boiling pot of chicken broth. Shanghai 1930 closed at the end of 2009.

Shanghai 1930 is a fancy Chinese restaurant and bar in the Embarcadero area. They focus on Shanghainese Chinese food and try to replicate Shanghai China in the 1930′s. They have free live Jazz Monday through Saturday evenings. We’ve eaten here several times and find the food expensive and average. Canteen is a small restaurant in San Francisco’s Tenderloin/Nob Hill area, right next to an Academy of Art location. Open in 2005, they have a weekly changing menu and serve American cuisine. Dynasty Chinese Seafood is a popular Chinese restaurant in Cupertino square shopping center. It is a huge restaurant with many rooms. They are home to many large wedding banquets.
