New 2009 San Francisco Zagat Guide

The Foodie bible Zagat San Francisco Bay Area Restaurants 2009 is available starting today at $10.17 from Amazon.

Per Mercury News “The No. 1 food ranking was reclaimed by Yountville’s French Laundry after six years of domination by San Francisco’s Gary Danko. Danko came in third, and the No. 2 spot went to Cyrus in Healdsburg. In overall popularity, which includes decor and service, the 1-2-3 spots were the same as last year: Gary Danko, Boulevard and Slanted Door, all in San Francisco.”

“Favorite foods: Twenty-three percent of those surveyed say Italian is their favorite cuisine, followed by Japanese (15 percent), French (14 percent) and American (13 percent).”
