Why did we dine here? – Pizzeria Mozza is a popular Southern California Italian restaurant with Chef Nancy Silverton in partnership with Mario Batali. We had it on our short list for our recent trip. Mozza2go is their take out location, right next door to Osteria Mozza.
Yes we dined at Osteria Mozza and came here for meal #2. Someone has to do this!
Insider Tip – Come here after dinner at Osteria Mozza. Order the pizza and they’ll call you when it’s ready.
Cuisine – Italian
Location – Hollywood
Opened – 2007
Service – Pizzeria Mozza 2go had a nice order taker who helped us select the right items
Verdict – Mozza2go serves up Mozza’s popular pizzas in a convenient to go venue.
Pizzeria Mozza Signature Dishes – Fennel Sausage Pizza
Pizzeria Mozza’s Menu is surprisingly long with 9 Antipasti items, 7 salads, 5 carne options, 9 sandwiches, and 14 pizzas.
Pizzeria Mozza Food Picks:
Fennel Sausage, Panna, Scallions, & Red Onion ($17) Pizza had large dolups of meat and a ton of fennel. Hi quality cheese, soft in the middle, thin crust, large golden brown and crisp edge. Very good stuff.
Nancy’s Focaccia ($4 for a quarter) made with egg and leek was very good. The full version looks like a pizza. Cold but still extremely edible.
Focaccia ($4) with olives and cheese was also very well done.
OK: (Order if you like this dish)
None
Pans: (We would not reorder these dishes)
None
