Everyday Beijing is a Chinese restaurant specializing in traditional Beijing style cuisine.
This family restaurant has been located in a sleepy part of San Mateo for years.
The generic decor is typical for a Chinese restaurant, with locals and families dining when we visited.

Lunch Specials are Best Deal
They have some specials that are sometimes posted on the wall, and not on the menu.
Picks:
Boiled Pork Cabbage Dumplings ($6.95) gets you a dozen of these dumplings. Juicy and flavorful, they do not need dipping sauce.
Beijing Family Style Noodle Soup ($6.95) were hand rolled noodles as apposed to hand pulled, so these were not as chewy or slippery. Good home style thick broth with al dente noodles, pork, egg flower drop. Not a lot of character, you need to like this style of home style noodles to enjoy this.
OK:
Jing Dong pork Pie ($6.65) is like a chinese pancake with layers of ground pork filling. Good only when it is hot.
Pans:
None
The service at Everyday Beijing was fair at best, better if there were fewer patrons. This is an average place, worth a visit if you like this type of Beijing cuisine and are in the vicinity. Dumplings and noodles are the food they specialize in. Probably not a good idea to go there for generic Chow mein and Sweet and sour.
