Cheung Hing Restaurant is a low cost Chinese restaurant in downtown Millbrae serving Seafood and Hong Kong Style BBQ. They also have a location in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset district. They specialize in items like BBQ pork, Roast Duck, Roast Pig, etc.
Decor, Vibe – Typical generic Chinese restaurant decor with roasted item racks in the back and live seafood tanks. Lots of locals and families were eating at this informal place.

Picks:
Two Item BBQ Meats ($8.95) We selected Roast Duck and BBQ Pork. Duck was very good with nice tender meat and shiny skin. BBQ Pork was not as good as the duck, but had good color and texture and was decent.
Salt Fish and Chicken with Bean cake in Clay Pot ($8.50) is a very fishy and smelly dish making it an acquired taste. This version was steaming hot and very good. Lots of fish and chicken.
OK:
House Special Noodles ($6.50) with 3 won tons and some bok choy was a good rendition of the classic. Not as good at ABC Cafe’s but passable.
Pans:
None
Cheung Hing Restaurant had pretty fair service, they take your order and bring your food, then hail them for everything else. Food was good and prices reasonable, making this a nice cheap eats Chinese restaurant.

[...] Roasted Duck ($12 for half) was top notch. Good sized portion, warm, juicy, and good flavor. Better than nearby Cheung Hing. [...]
