Pain de Sucre (Sugarloaf in English) is a Foodie must visit patisserie in Paris’s dynamic 3rd Arrondissement known as The Marais. This shop is located a couple blocks from the Museum Pompidou. We visited many food shops in Paris and this one still stands out. The owners used to work for 3 Michelin star chef Pierre Gagnaire, but left to open this store in 2004.
Decor, Vibe – Small shop next to small restaurants, food shops, wine shops. Clean modern display of all the delectable treats.

Pain de Sucre has some beautiful products that taste as good as they look. Everything from brioche to croissants to cakes to candy. Be sure to visit them when you are in Paris. Do not be surprised if there is a line out the door. The offerings are worth the wait. Closed for 3 weeks in August. Metro: Rambuteau
