Woodside Bakery & Cafe is a combination Bakery and cafe in upscale Woodside, right next door to Buck’s. The bakery has been here since the 1980’s.
Decor, Vibe – Bakery area up front, big wood fired pizza oven in the kitchen. Outdoor patio in the back. Locals, tourists and bikers passing through, larger parties were eating lunch.

Picks:
None
OK:
Pizza Margherita ($12) with vine ripe tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil, extra virgin olive oil (tomato sauce optional) was pretty average with little flavor to it. Cheese was pretty forgettable.
Almond Crusted Rainbow Trout ($15) stir fried Asian vermicelli salad with orange ponzu sauce looked like they chopped half for another person’s dish. It was decent but crusted heavily.
Pans:
Chop Chop Salad ($12) romaine, artichoke hearts, olives, gorgonzola, smoked bacon, red onion, hard cooked egg was a miss mash of ingredients anyone could toss together. Dressing was creamy like a ranch with no flavor.
Split Pea soup ($5) was soup of the day and very thick and heavily pea flavored.
Woodside Bakery & Cafe had terrible service with us forced to hail waiters to order, get refills, get the bill, etc. Timing was off, they did not bring the salad with the soup. The food was pretty average, so we would stick to the bakery. Try Buck’s next door. Reasonable selection of wines by the glass from $7, bottles from $28.
