El Farolito is a Mexican Restaurant with several locations in San Francisco’s Mission district, Oakland, South San Francisco, Santa Rosa, and Rohnert Park. We visited the 24th street location.
Decor, Vibe – Pretty plain jane dining establishment, no beauty awards here. Mostly locals eating of all ages and ethnicities.

Picks:
Chicken Quesdilla Suiza ($5.45 for regular) was pretty big and full of chicken. They ask if you want grilled or boiled chicken, a first for me. Cheese, chicken were all delictable. One of the better versions in the city. Chips cost 0.50 extra now.
Al Pastor Burrito ($4.45 for regular) was pretty massive for the price. Good amount of seasoned pork. I prefer the Al pastor flavor elsewhere but found this a solid version. Fresh rice, tomatoes, and black beans.
OK:
Horchata ($2.75) had decent flavor but was not stirred up well. Lots of powdery residue floating around.
Pans:
None
El Farolito took about 5 minutes to get the food ready. Prices are pretty good making this a good value. We would rank the taco trucks like El Tonayanse and El Norteno slightly higher in terms of food quality, but the food here was pretty good.
