My recent experience at Lei Garden (IFC Mall) was a nightmare.

We made a reservation there for 2pm, was there before 2pm, waited till 2.50pm for a seat.

We placed our order at 2.52pm and at 2.25pm the waitress came to tell us quite rudely that we have until 3.30pm to finish-up as they will switch off all the lights and there will be no waiting staff.

We told them that we are only half way through our lunch and the dessert that we ordered have not been served yet.
Another waitress came and tell us it's too bad and we don't have a choice.

True enough, by 3.30pm, the lights went out and the waiting staff retreat for their split-shift break.

Food was alright, but service was awful.
If you're hungry at 2pm, please go elsewhere.

I've been to Lei Garden; the West Kowloon location and the food was excellent. In regards to the Daquiri you tried...you ordered a western cocktail in a Cantonesse restaurant in Hong Kong? Really?
