The Lodge Buffet Restaurant Review, Reno
Posted by admin, November 22nd, 2008
The Lodge Buffet is located in the Grand Sierra Resort, Reno. It was formerly known as the Reno Hilton. They have buffets for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. There was a very long wait to get into the buffet and it was mid week.
Decor, Vibe - Modern decor with lots of different food stations. Lots of locals, tourists, gamblers, and non gamblers. Lots of families and couples.
The Lodge Buffet has a lot of variety but not a lot of high quality items. They serve everything from seafood to prime rib to mexican food to salads. Dessert variety was a little lacking. Buffets in Las Vegas are superior. Even buffets like Moonstar in the SF Bay Area are better.
We have tried several buffets in Reno including the ones at the El Dorado and Peppermill. They all serve food of about the same quality. Spend a couple minutes and join their player club to get the buffet for a lot less.

I’ve read and heard so many things about Vegas food and buffets. I’ve never been, but I’m thinking I’ve gotta get there one of these days!
