Custom Burger Restaurant Review, San Francisco

Another trendy fancy burger place… This one is a fancy one located in the SOMA district with an adjacent bar. You get to select a patty, 3 free toppings, optional premium toppings or cheese, sauce and bun. They use meats from the Golden Gate Meat Company. You can get lamb, turkey, salmon, kobe beef, chicken, and veggie burgers.
Decore Vibe - Clean modern new space. Place was not busy when we went.

Picks:
The 1/3lb Angus burger ($6.99) was a good size. The meat was slightly pink in the middle and had a slight Angus flavor to it. The Tillamook cheddar cheese ($0.99) tasted good. The sesame bun was big and toasted. It outlasted all the other items. The sauteed sweet yellow onions were yummy but caused the bun to get drenched. You need to eat it fast.
French fries ($1.79 half basket) with sea salt were high on quality buy low on quantity. They tasted good when dipped in the Red Tail Ale BBQ Sauce.

The service was fine. It took about 5 minutes for the burger to arrive. If I wanted a good burger, I’d definitely consider Custom Burger. Pearls Phat Burgers and Custom Burger have some of the best burgers in San Francisco. There are so many customization options that almost anybody could be satisfied. The quality is pretty high too. You can also easily hit the Custom Lounge right next door for adult beverages.
